1. What this site is
The Site is an independent, informational price-comparison service for audiophile gear. It displays product names, prices, stock status, store ratings and price history collected from third-party stores. The Site is not a store, does not sell anything, and never takes payment from a visitor. There is no company behind it: it is one audiophile helping other audiophiles, built for the love of this niche community ❤️.
2. Prices are informational - verify at the store
Prices and stock change without notice at the stores. The Site's sync reads each store's public catalog feed on a fixed schedule - never by the minute - and the Site makes no guarantee that a price or stock status is current at the moment of viewing. Every price shown is indicative information, not an offer, and no contract of sale can arise on this Site: a purchase becomes a contract only between the visitor and the store, on the store's own terms. Always verify the price on the store's own page before purchasing.
Prices at overseas stores are shown in rupees using the prevailing dollar-to-rupee conversion rate at the time of the last check. Converted figures are estimates: the store charges in its own currency, card issuers apply their own rate, and customs duty or import taxes (where applicable) are not included unless a page says otherwise.
3. Purchases are between you and the store
The Site surfaces the lowest current price as a fact; where to buy is always the visitor's decision. Any purchase made through a link on the Site is solely between the visitor and the store they choose. TheTuningChoice is not a party to any purchase and is not responsible for orders, payments, delivery, defects, warranty, returns or refunds. Warranty terms are the manufacturer's or the store's own - the Site quotes them for convenience and is not a party to them.
4. No purchase advice
The Site reports facts (prices, history, dates, stock) and expresses no opinion on whether, when, or where to buy. Nothing on the Site is a recommendation to purchase.
5. Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links. They cost the visitor nothing extra - the store pays a small referral fee that keeps the Site running, and every rupee received goes back into maintaining the Site. Affiliate status never changes which store is shown as cheapest; ranking is not for sale.
6. Independence - not affiliated with any store
The Site is not owned by, operated by, endorsed by, or officially connected to any store or brand named on it. Store names and logos appear only to identify where a product is sold. Each store is responsible for the accuracy of its own listings.
7. Trademarks and product images
Store trademarks, logos, product names and product photography belong to their respective owners. They are used here solely to identify stores and products, with visible credit and a link back to the source. Product photographs are served from the crediting store's or brand's own image servers wherever possible. If any rights holder wants an image, listing or mark removed, one email to hello@thetuningchoice.in is enough - it will be removed or muted within 48 hours, no questions asked. 8. How the Site collects its data
The Site builds its catalog by reading each store's own public, machine-readable catalog feed - the same structured data the storefront serves to every shopper. Access is polite and transparent: robots.txt respected, roughly one request per second, off-peak schedules, and an honest User-Agent that names the site and a contact email. Amazon is accessed only through its official Product Advertising API, never by automated page access. Any store can ask to be removed at any time - listings are muted immediately and stay off until the store says otherwise.
Most of the tracked stores run on Shopify. By design, every Shopify storefront publishes a public catalog feed of its products at a standard address (the store's /products.json), and Shopify automatically generates each store's robots.txt to allow crawlers to read product pages and catalogs - it is how price trackers, search engines and comparison services read Shopify stores generally. The Site does exactly that: it subscribes to the public feeds of the stores listed on the home page (for example headphonezone.in/products.json or hifigo.com/products.json, which anyone can open in a browser), at a polite rate, without any account, login or bypass of any technical barrier. No store is contacted through anything other than what it publishes to the open web. Stores whose terms gate automated access, or that publish no feed, are not tracked at all.

9. Ratings and other store-sourced facts
Star ratings and review counts are read from each store's own product pages and reflect what that store displayed at its last check. They can lag behind the store and are shown as recorded, with no adjustment and no endorsement by the Site.
10. Limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and its operator are not liable for any loss arising from use of the Site or from purchases made with any store, including decisions made using price history, ratings or any other information displayed.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
12. Contact and takedown requests
Questions, corrections, rights-holder requests, or a store that wants its listings removed: hello@thetuningchoice.in. Removal requests are honored within 48 hours.
